Enjoy the fourth Artists Guild exhibition of 2026, on view in the Gadsden Arts Center & Museum’s Bates Community Room and Bates Gallery through December 5, 2026. On display is artwork by Tom Anderson, Jan Austin-Hicken, Douglas Bondurant, Deborah Bullock, Tony Butkowski, Kathleen Cody-Guastella, Kathy Ferrell, Theresa Francisco, Thomas Friedman, Joy Green, Sal Guastella, Lucy Harris, Lily Lawson, Kristin Manos, Hui Chiu McClure, Nick O’Sullivan, Linda O’Sullivan, Kent Putnam, Jill Quadagno, Ann Robinson, Stephen Bennett Smith, Karen Stewart, Jay Ter Louw, James Thigpen, Mary Liz Tippin-Moody, and Georgia Turner.

Mission


The Gadsden Arts Center & Museum Artists Guild is a service group of Gadsden Arts, Inc. that exists to serve the art community and artists of the region, Gadsden Arts Center & Museum membership, and Gadsden County Schools through exhibitions and educational presentations.


About



This membership level is open to all emerging to established artists in the region. Artists Guild membership dues are $195 per year.

Artists Guild Membership Benefits


  • Work (1-2 pieces) shown in 2 Artists Guild exhibitions throughout the year

  • Gadsden Arts receives a 30% commission on works sold (instead of 40%) in Artists Guild installations (does not apply to Museum Shop items or Out of Pocket exhibitions)

  • A Family Membership to the Gadsden Arts Center & Museum (Artists with memberships that have been renewed within the last 6 months pay the difference)

  • Publicity opportunities through Gadsden Arts monthly E-news and website

Requirements for Exhibiting


  • Membership dues and contact information must be current (this is the artist member’s responsibility).

  • Artists must furnish works for exhibition upon request or may lose their spot in the artist exhibition rotation.

  • All work must be provided ready to install/hang, properly mounted or framed, with wire for hanging (no clips or saw-toothed hangers).

  • All artwork brought for the exhibition is accompanied by a Loan Agreement and W-9 form.

  • Each artist is responsible to bring/ship artwork to and from Gadsden Arts.
