Founded 38 years ago, Art in Gadsden showcases exceptional talent from across the region, blending local heritage with fresh vision. Enjoy a relaxed lunch and engaging conversation with past and present Art in Gadsden award winners as they share their stories, creative insights, and experiences.
Luncheon reservations are required and can be made online. Seating is limited, and early registration is encouraged.

Go beyond the gallery and step inside the working studios of talented regional artists during this special members-only experience. As part of our 38th Annual Art in Gadsden Juried Exhibition, Artists’ Studio Visits offer a unique opportunity to see where creativity happens and gain insight into each artist’s process and practice.

Major Exhibition
America’s Everglades: Through the Lens of Clyde Butcher
Public Opening
Friday, September 25, 2026, from 5pm–7:30pm
Join us to celebrate National Medal of Arts honoree Clyde Butcher and explore America’s Everglades. America’s Everglades: Through the Lens of Clyde Butcher, features Butcher’s monumental photography and inspires meaningful conversations about Florida’s unique and vital ecosystems.
The evening includes a special presentation by Jack Davis, Ph.D. (University of Florida, Gainesville), Priceless Ecosystems: Florida’s Gulf Coast and Everglades, exploring the history of the Everglades, Harry Truman’s conservation legacy, and the impact of Clyde Butcher’s work. Guests will also experience a live animal presentation from St. Francis Wildlife Association, highlighting the importance of protecting wildlife and their habitats. Enjoy refreshments while connecting with others and reflecting on the beauty and significance of one of our nation’s most treasured landscapes.

Rachel Carson – Mother of the Environmental Movement

Coinciding with America’s Everglades: Through the Lens of Clyde Butcher, join us for a special Dine & Discover Luncheon featuring Rebecca Henson, Founding Director of Springsong Museum in Silver Spring, Maryland, a museum dedicated to the life and legacy of Rachel Carson.
Often regarded as the Mother of the Modern Environmental Movement, Rachel Carson was a National Book Award-winning author and biologist whose groundbreaking writing transformed the way people understood and valued the natural world. She traveled widely and spent time in the Everglades. Her work inspired generations to protect our environment and continues to influence conservation efforts today.
Henson will explore Carson’s enduring legacy while also sharing insights into Springsong Museum and its mission to preserve and celebrate Carson’s life, work, and lasting impact on environmental stewardship.

Festive Family Day
Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 10am–3pm
Celebrate the season with Gadsden Arts at Festive Family Day on December 5, a fun-filled event for the whole family! Enjoy holiday-themed crafts led by our Creative Futures Council youth, followed by a gallery Treasure Hunt with prizes. Each child can take home a free book and Art @ Home Kit, and the whole family can explore shopping and dining, all on Quincy’s Courthouse Square.
